Nine years ago, there were no private transportation options available for local high schools in Fremont, Union City, and Newark (Tri-City area). In 2015, we began our journey by offering school commuting services with just two students. Today, thanks to our growing reputation, Tri-City Rideshare LLC is a trusted name in local student transportation.
Our vehicles are fully equipped, insured with rideshare endorsements, and operated by trustworthy, punctual, and professionally trained drivers, so your child is always in safe hands. We offer reliable, door-to-door student transport services, giving parents “peace of mind” and the ability to focus on their work.

                                              Terms & condition to serve you better.
 

The following terms and conditions are not legal contracts but reflect our standard service policies to ensure smooth, consistent, and reliable transportation for your child.

Trip Types & Fees:

  • A “One-Way Trip” includes travel either from home to school or school to home.

  • A “Two-Way Trip” includes both morning and afternoon transportation.(Home to school and School to home)

  • Two-way trips are billed at double the one-way rate, minus a 10% discount.

  • Fees may vary depending on each school’s schedule. Any additional or special pickups or drop-offs beyond the regular service will incur extra charges.

Pickup & Drop-off:

1.  Students will be picked up and dropped off at designated locations (home or school).

  • 1-A. In the mornings, students must be ready at least 5 minutes before the scheduled pickup time. Drivers cannot wait.

  • 1-B. Afternoon pickups include a 10-minute grace period, except for Thornton Elementary, where the wait time is limited to 6 minutes due to high congestion.

Parent Communication:

  • 2. Please inform us at least one day in advance if your child will not attend school, or if you plan to drop off or pick up your child yourself. Your timely communication helps us serve all families better.

Cleanliness & Safety:

  • 3. To maintain a hygienic, allergy-safe environment, no food or drinks are allowed in the vehicles.

  • 3-A.  $150 cleaning fee will be charged if a child causes a mess that requires professional cleaning.

Driver Absences:

  • 4. In rare circumstances, our drivers may take up to 3 personal days off per year. No alternate transportation will be provided on those days, and parents will be informed in advance whenever possible.

Service Agreement:

  • 5. This is an annual contract for school transportation between Tri-City Rideshare LLC and the parent or guardian.

  • 5-A. If you only require temporary service, please consult with us before signing.

  • 5-B. If a parent discontinues the service mid-year, re-enrollment during the same school year will require a $200 re-enrollment fee.

School Closures & Holidays:

  • 6. If a school closes on or after the 10th of a month, the full month’s fee is still applicable.

  • 7. If a school is closed or opens any day within a month due to vacation, the full monthly fee still applies.

  • No charges will be applied during the summer break.

Enrollment:

  • 8. A new enrollment form must be submitted each academic year.

  • 9. The enrollment fee is $50.

  • 10. Seats are limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis.

  3. Submission does not guarantee enrollment; confirmation is based on seat availability.

If accepted, we will contact you via email or text with deposit instructions. The enrollment fee and first month’s payment must be submitted at least 15 days before the first day of school.
